Holy Family, Our Lady Star of the Sea and Holy Trinity Churches remain closed, and our celebrations of Mass, Baptism and other Sacraments are suspended for the time being.
* Due to recent lockdowns, baptisms were cancelled. If your baptism date has been or will be effected by lockdowns, restrictions or cancellations, families will be contacted as soon as possible. You are welcome to email email@example.com. We understand this is a challenging and difficult time for all. It can be difficult to plan in advance, only to cancel at the last minute. As always, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. *
We are working hard to celebrate baptisms in a safe and spiritual way.
We have quite a few rules & guidelines to abide by, which can make things a little challenging.
If you have made an initial baptism request and you are yet to hear back from the Parish office, you will be contacted soon.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding.

The Parish celebrates the Sacrament of Baptism on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 12:30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Queenscliff.
Bookings are essentials via the Parish office.
Families are required to attend baptism preparation. The baptism preparation must be done prior to the baptism. The baptism preparation is done on a Saturday at 11:00am at the Presbytery/Parish Office. The session goes for approximately an hour.
At least one Godparent must be of Catholic faith and has received all of their Sacraments.
Godparents must be over the age of 16.
Church capacity: Holy Trinity Church has a capacity of 30 people (based on 1 person per 4 square metres) or 60 people (based on 1 person per 2 square metres). Each baptism child is assigned an allocated number seats; this will include the baptism child/children and their immediate family. This is to ensure we are COVID safe and compliant to guidelines, whilst celebrating in a spiritual way. If we have capacity to invite more people, we will advise families a few days prior to the baptism. Attendees must check-in electronically using the provided QR code(s) and sanitise their hands upon entry to the church. We ask families and attendees to arrive 10-15 minutes early to ensure they are checked in and follow COVID protocol before the commencement of the baptism service.
