ENROLMENTS FOR 2025 ARE NOW OPEN.
The Parish Office is now accepting enrolments for the 2025 Sacramental Program.
Class numbers will be capped at 12 children per class. We are unable to accept any more than 12 children per class.
Please download and complete the enrolment form (see below) with supporting Sacramental certificates.
We kindly ask for the fee to be paid within 14 days of submitting your enrolment form and receiving availability confirmation from the parish office. Please do not make your payment until you have received the confirmation email from the parish office.

PLEASE NOTE FOR RECONCILIATION CLASS 2025: as of 17th July 2024, class is now at capacity. Regrettably, we are no longer able to accept enrolment forms for Reconciliation.
IMPORTANT DATES FOR 2025:
- Enrolment and family information session: no session in 2025, please submit enrolment forms via email to the parish office with payment to secure your child’s enrolment.
- Class commencement date:
- Reconciliation and First Eucharist: Tuesday DATE TO BE CONFIRMED 2025. 4:00pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
- Confirmation: Wednesday DATE TO BE CONFIRMED 2025. 4:00pm at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
- No classes during school holidays between 7th and 20th April 2025 inclusive.
SACRAMENTAL MASS/SERVICE DATES FOR 2025:
- Confirmation Mass: date and location to be advised in 2025, with Bishop Martin Ashe and Fr Linh Pham.
- Reconciliation Service: date to be advised in 2025.
- First Eucharist Mass: date to be advised in 2025.
The Parish offers a Sacramental Program to students not attending Catholic schools. The program usually commences a few weeks after Term 1 starts.
Classes are held at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church (68 John Dory Drive, Ocean Grove) from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
Parents and families are asked to complete an enrolment form and return the form and supporting Sacramental Certificates to the parish office before 30th November 2024 to register their child(ren). Class numbers are capped and limited.
We require a copy of your child(ren)’s Baptism certificate and any other Sacramental Certificate upon enrolment. Your child must be baptised prior to commencing the Sacramental Program.
The program fee is $100.00 per family. Note: this fee is subject to change. We kindly ask for the fee to be paid within 14 days of submitting your enrolment form and receiving availability confirmation from the parish office. Children can only receive one Sacrament per year. Our Sacramental Program is run by wonderful volunteers; however, our resources are limited and classes run at the same time.

Sponsors for Confirmation candidates:
- the Sponsor must be over the age of 16.
- the Sponsor must be Catholic faith, baptised and has received all of their Sacraments.
- Parents are unable to be their child’s Sponsor.
