Faith & Life

What does the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, or RCIA, mean?   It is the Catholic Church’s way of inviting adults to share and discover more about our faith; a journey through which we share our faith lives together, as a small group, looking into the life of Jesus.  We discuss passages of sacred scripture which provide us with insight and guidance.

We also look at the way we, as Catholics, practice our faith.

In our parish, the process is marked by various rites (rituals), usually commencing around the end of August/early September, and continuing (school and public holidays excepted) through to Pentecost, at the end of the Easter season.

Any personal information shared in the meetings remains in confidence with the RCIA team.
