**NEWS UPDATE from St ALOYSIUS CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL**
After an extensive process working closely with Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) – receiving applications, assembling and training an interview panel, and shortlisting through to final interviews – we are pleased to announce that Miriam Leahy has been appointed as Principal.
Miriam will be well known to St A’s learning community, parents and friends, because she has been acting in this role since the beginning of this academic year. Her previous experience includes many years teaching at Sienna Secondary College, where she was also for a time Religious Education Leader. She has been involved as a Specialist Teacher at St A’s in recent years.
We congratulate and warmly welcome Miriam, and wish her all the best in her leadership.
